You can activate it through the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and it comes with 5 levels of safety based on the spam score given to each and every email message in accordance with different parameters, such as the frequency of given words, the sender, etc. If you keep receiving junk email messages, you can always raise the level or if you’re scared that you may omit a genuine message, you can combine the automatic email filter with a custom one and redirect all email messages from a specific sender to some other email account. In case you reach the decision that you no longer want a spam filter for a given email account, you can deactivate it with just several clicks.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you take advantage of one of our Linux semi-dedicated packages, you will not have to worry about junk messages filling up your mailboxes all the time, as you can resort to the famous SpamAssassin filter that we provide with each semi-dedicated hosting account. Our in-house created Hepsia hosting Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any mailbox with a few clicks of the mouse and you can select one of the five levels of protection – from very low to very high. The level can be changed at any moment if, for instance, genuine email messages get blocked, or if junk messages go through and reach your inbox. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered email messages to be redirected to a special mailbox such as email@example.com and not to be deleted. In this way, you can check them from time to time to ensure that you have not missed out on a legitimate message.
